1. Services

Green Wellness provides medical marijuana evaluation services pursuant to Washington State law (RCW 69.51A). Our licensed physicians evaluate patients for qualifying conditions and, where appropriate, issue written authorization documents. We do not prescribe cannabis; authorization documents are issued in compliance with state law only.

Green Wellness is not a pharmacy, dispensary, or cannabis retailer. We do not sell cannabis products. Authorization documents are valid at licensed Washington State cannabis retailers only.

2. Patient Eligibility

To use Green Wellness services you must: (a) be 18 years of age or older; (b) be a resident of Washington State; (c) be physically present in Washington State at the time of your telehealth appointment; and (d) have a qualifying medical condition as defined under RCW 69.51A.060.

We reserve the right to decline service to any patient who misrepresents their medical history, residency, or identity. Providing false information to a licensed physician constitutes fraud.

3. Payments & Fees

All fees are collected online at the time of booking via Stripe. Current fees are $175 for new patient evaluations and $140 for annual renewals. Fees are subject to change without notice; the price at the time of booking is the price you pay.

Medical marijuana evaluations are not covered by health insurance. Green Wellness does not bill insurance companies. Patients are responsible for the full evaluation fee regardless of outcome.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

You may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 2 hours before the scheduled start time without charge. Cancellations made within 2 hours of the appointment are non-refundable.

If you do not qualify for a medical marijuana authorization following a completed evaluation, you are not entitled to a refund. The fee covers the physician's time and expertise — not a guaranteed outcome.

Green Wellness reserves the right to issue refunds at its discretion in cases of technical failure or provider cancellation.

5. No Ongoing Medical Relationship

Green Wellness evaluations do not establish a primary care or ongoing therapeutic relationship. Our physicians evaluate you for the specific purpose of determining eligibility under Washington State medical marijuana law. For ongoing medical care, you should maintain a relationship with a primary care provider.

Nothing in our communications constitutes medical advice regarding specific cannabis products, dosages, or treatment protocols. We strongly encourage patients to discuss cannabis use with their primary care provider.

6. Federal Law Notice

Cannabis remains a Schedule I controlled substance under federal law. Washington State authorization does not protect you from federal prosecution. Patients who work for federal agencies, are active duty military, or hold federal security clearances should carefully review applicable federal regulations and agency policies before seeking authorization.

Green Wellness makes no representations regarding federal law compliance and is not responsible for any federal legal consequences arising from a patient's cannabis use.

7. Privacy & HIPAA

Green Wellness is a covered entity under HIPAA. We maintain appropriate safeguards for all protected health information (PHI). See our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices at greenwellness.org/privacy.

We will not share your health information with employers, insurers, law enforcement, or any third party without your written authorization, except as required by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Green Wellness and its physicians shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to employment consequences, federal legal proceedings, or any adverse health outcomes related to cannabis use.

Green Wellness's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific evaluation giving rise to the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Washington State. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.

10. Changes to These Terms

Green Wellness may update these Terms at any time. We will post updated Terms on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
