Oh, that’s a good question. But it’s not like ordering a burger; there are a few steps to it! First, you need to be diagnosed with a qualifying medical condition defined by your state. That could be anything from chronic pain to glaucoma or cancer.
Next, you’d need to book an appointment with a certified marijuana doctor provider to recommend medical marijuana.
Marijuana Doctors at Green Wellness will evaluate your health condition and determine if you are eligible. If you get the thumbs up, they will give you a recommendation or certification that you can use to apply for a medical marijuana card through your state’s health department.
In most states, this involves filling out an application form online and paying a small fee. Then, you sit tight while your application gets reviewed. If it gets approved, voila! You’ve got yourself a medical marijuana card. Remember, the process can vary from state to state, so look up the specific procedure for your state!
In Washington State, they’re pretty specific about who can get medical cannabis. First off, you have to be a resident of Washington. Then, you’ve got to be diagnosed with one or more of their qualifying conditions. These include cancer, HIV, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, chronic pain, and more.
You can’t just self-diagnose, though! You need a healthcare practitioner (like a doc, a nurse practitioner, or a physician assistant) to confirm your diagnosis. Once that’s done, the healthcare practitioner can enter you into the Medical Marijuana Authorization Database and give you a recognition card. That’s your ticket to buying, possessing, and even growing a limited amount of cannabis for medical use.
Well, that depends on where you’re at! You can claim your card from Thirty-six states, including the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, and medical marijuana card in florida have approved comprehensive, publicly available medical marijuana programs. So if you’re in one of those places, you can apply for a card there.
I visited this clinic in search of natural options to include in my cancer treatment plan, and I am very satisfied with this decision. The staff was friendly and it was easy to set my appointment. The doctor was so compassionate and really made me feel like I was in good hands. The information I received from Green Wellness has helped me immensely on my journey to health and I could not be more thankful. A++ highly recommend
I am glad to have visited this office. The outcome has had a very positive impact on my life. I was authorized based on my endometriosis and was able to visit a dispensary to purchase herbal medicine the same day. Since seeing the doctor at Green Wellness, my pain level has decreased and I am very grateful that my qualify of life has improved. The visit was simple.. the doctor went over my medical records, asked me questions and gave me helpful advice on how to treat my condition. Thank you Green Wellness 🙂

Had a great experience. Called for an appointment and got one the next day. Receptionist and doctor were very friendly, respectful, and helpful. They never purported to be a dispensary, but did provide a list of them along with other important info. I also received a disability discount. Definitely recommend.
This wasn’t nearly as much of a pain in the butt as I feared it would be. Actually, the paperwork and the interview with the doctor was pretty easy, quick, and efficient. I think we were in and out of there in about a half hour or so. I would highly recommend Green Wellness to anybody needing the services they offer. Thanks!
This was my first visit to the Lynnwood Green Wellness. The staff I booked my appointment with were very knowledgeable and had great recommendations for very well. Also, ample parking was very nice.
I am so grateful that Green Wellness is located in Vancouver. Hanna is so sweet and kind and Dr. Petersen really cares about his patients and asks questions that let you know he is truly concerned for you. I have been a patient at Green Wellness for three years and am so very pleased with this clinic. They have my highest recommendation!
